Here are a few photos of my brother and his family that I did recently. Right before we went out to do the pictures a terrible storm had just blown through. In fact, I had to sit in my car for a good 20 minutes while it was pouring rain and thundering and lightening. Luckily the sky cleared and we were able to get a few good ones.

West Stokes Prom - May 2012

I recently took some prom pictures for Tyler and Kandi, who were going to the West Stokes prom. I had been looking forward to doing this all week. As Saturday approached, the forecast was looking more and more like rain. About an hour before I was to go meet them at a nearby farm in Germanton, the rain  came pouring! We almost decided to cancel. All of a sudden, the rain cleared and the sun started shining bright, almost as if it had never rained at all. Here are a few of my favorites from their session. 

A Little About Me....

This blog is to share my love of photography and recent work. While my husband and I were looking for someone to photograph our wedding in 2006, I discovered a new hobby that has been growing and growing since. I finally got my first Nikon camera several years ago and decided to really learn how to use it. Since then, I have been reading, attending some classes, and trying as many things as I could to develop my knowledge.
